Massage
Massage incorporates the sense of touch, the most powerful of all our senses. Manual massage relies on the use of the hands and arms using varied pressure and speed to perform different massage techniques that each produce a variety of stimulating effects on the body, mind and spirit. It not only helps in the prevention of stress but is also a natural aid to the treatment of stress-related conditions.
A "one-off" massage treatment offers a short-term solution to stress eg. relieving muscular tension and fatigue after a busy day. Regular massage treatment offers a more long-term solution to stress providing time out to encourage relief from both mental and physical fatigue and creating a greater self-awareness.
A full body massage lasts for approximately 60 minutes and is performed on a treatment couch. Towels are used throughout the treatment to ensure modesty. A back, neck and shoulder massage is also available and lasts approximately 25 minutes.
